🕯️Transgender Day of Remembrance 🕯️ On Transgender Day of Remembrance, we pause to remember and honour the lives of all those in the Trans community who have been lost to anti-trans violence. Since 1999, #TransDayOfRemembrance has served as both a tribute and a call to action- a day to reflect on the hatred and violence that continues to affect the Trans community. At 9:00PM on November 20th, all The Well locations will observe a moment of reflection in silence to honour those we have lost and to support the transgender community. As allies, it's our responsibility to stand up against bigotry, amplify Trans voices, and educate ourselves on the struggles Trans individuals face every day. Most importantly, we honour the memory of Rita Hester and countless others whose lives were taken by senseless violence.
